Knowledge and practice in additive manufacturing and product development

Experience working with additive manufacturing technologies across different processes and scales, integrating design, prototyping and production workflows.

Familiar with FDM, SLS and SLA methods, using materials such as PLA, PA12 nylon and photopolymer resins, selected according to functional, aesthetic and structural requirements.

Hands-on experience with machines from manufacturers such as Bambu Lab, Formlabs and Creality, including file preparation, parameter adjustment, tolerance testing and post-processing.

Approach focused on using additive manufacturing not only as a prototyping tool, but as a design driver to explore new geometries, material behaviors and production strategies.

FDM

FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING

Widely used for rapid prototyping, functional iterations and testing during the product development process. FDM enables quick validation of geometry, fit and assembly while working efficiently across multiple design rounds.

Experience with PLA and other common thermoplastics, as well as printer setup, slicing preparation, support strategies, print optimization and post-processing for presentation and validation models.

SLS

SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING

Used for more robust functional parts and complex geometries that benefit from support-free production. SLS opens possibilities for integrated assemblies, lightweight structures and more advanced prototype validation.

Experience with PA12 nylon workflows and powder-based additive manufacturing, including an understanding of nesting, depowdering, finishing and the design opportunities enabled by this process.

SLA

STEREOLITHOGRAPHY

Applied in projects requiring high precision, fine details and improved surface quality. SLA is especially useful for small components, detailed prototypes and pieces where dimensional control and finish are critical.

Familiar with resin-based workflows, including file preparation, orientation, support generation, washing, curing and finishing, using photopolymer materials selected according to project needs.
